the atacomas finally arrived in the mail yesterday. im absolutely in love with them but kind of bummed out that they run rather small. it takes me about a good 5 minutes squeezing into them, but once theyre on i never want to take them off. they look great with everything. ive been on the hunt for this h&m zippered dress for a few months now. i had just about given up, then i randomly stopped by the store last week and found the only one on the rack (apparently it was a return). the zipper zips all the way around so you can wear it seperate, closed all the way, or half open like i did. its a really great layering piece. its funny how things work out. you find what youre looking for after you stop looking for it..

last days of summer

today was probably the hottest day of summer. i spent the day enjoying the beatles rock band (SO FUN!!). i dont have enough rhythm or patience to be the drummer or guitarist. so my poor friends had to suffer through a session with my awful singing voice. but hey, thats what friends are for. they love you even if you cant sing for shit. :)

i recently got these shoes from UO. im not even kidding, they are the most comfortable shoes i have ever owned in my life. theyre my new running errands/school shoes.

random photos via kelly's iphone of friday night. her polaroid app is another reason why i really need an iphone already. maybe i can find something equally as rad for the mytouch? does anyone know if it exists? i know some of you are on the fence with the bonadrag lace flare pants but trust me, they are really pretty in person. the black ones are cool too but when i saw the lavender ones, i couldnt resist. theyre gorgeous.

creep the streets

i really love this netted cardigan. but its hard to put into an outfit without looking too waterworldy (not a word, i know). im seriously wearing these shoes to death, but i cant help it. they are really comfortable and easy to walk in since they arent that high. im anxiously waiting on the atacomas to come in the mail. they should be here anyday now. and in case you didnt know, christopher kane for topshop is out today! a few pieces i wanted were sold out within the hour. but i did snap up a few things so im pretty content with that. there are already items up on ebay. so if you guys missed out on the ones you had your eye on, that may be another option..

random shot of my dog. he always puts a smile on my face even in the worst of times. the shoes are a new favorite of mine. nasty gal restocked so check em out. theyre amazing in person. blog posts have been slow lately, im sorry. i have my last day of class tomorrow so ive been pretty busy with final projects and what not. i also have a bunch more stuff for sale that i will post soon. as for today i must finish up my projects and possibly stop by the rosebowl flea market for a bit. back to work!

mimosas & 711

last week we went to the opening of our friend's event in long beach. the night involved getting lost, lots of mimosas, hating ass females, and a trip to 711 after. all in all a good night. i got ready at roxies house with nothing to wear so i had to settle with a basic and very simple outfit. comfort was key.

back in black

believe it or not, this long fringe studded vest is from bebe. ive been wearing it all week. my mother dragged me to the mall last week and we passed by bebe and i actually purchased quite a few things. not kidding. they have some good pieces right now. such as this crochet chained sweater, this puff sleeve jacket, and this jean moto vest. its funny how you find the best things in the most unexpected places.

MIA

last week i attended the MIA show in LA. it was a pretty small event and there were lots of cute kids there. i didnt get to snap as many photos of them as i wanted and i was nowhere near the stage when she performed so my photos are pretty mediocre. but i hope you enjoy all the same!
