(vintage brontosaurus shirt, express skirt, reebok sneakers, comme des garcon clutch, westward leaning sunglasses)

window shopping on hollywood blvd last week in by current favorite shirt. it was originally a boy's tshirt i found at the rosebowl flea market for $5. i hacked off the sleeve and it is now sort of a halter/tshirt crop hybrid. anyone who knows me will tell you what a huge dinosaur freak i am. when i was a kid i was obsessed with jurassic park, and my childhood dream job was to be a paleontologist. i spent countless hours in my backyard with picks and brushes dusting off rocks, hoping to discover a dinosaur bone in my back yard. needless to say, i never discovered a prehistoric bone, but i did end up collecting tons of crystals and turquoise rocks i found and perhaps that's what peeked my interest in jewelry and later on fashion. i recently stumbled upon a video (below) by the huffington post about our beloved brontosaurus. very interesting facts about how pop culture has romanticized the idea of dinosaurs and in particular the brontosaurus. although i know that brontosaurus is not it's correct name, it will forever be known as a brontosaurus to me (i can be very stubborn at times).
