Never have I been this excited about a desert in my life. Ok, that may be a lie, I'm always pretty excited about deserts, but these to-die-for adorable macarons are pretty damn special. Funny story about how I discovered these.. I randomly saw Honey & Butter on my explore page on Instagram one day and was dying over how cute everything was. Then I realized that they are located at the Lab in Costa Mesa (only 20 minutes away from me!) so I knew I had to take a trip that weekend to get myself a handful of these. As you can tell from that last photo I was quite excited about these. Each one was a little piece of art, it was so hard to eat my new little friends! But when I finally did over the course of the next few days, it was delicious and took me to a happy place each time I had one. This was also the last day Shawn and I hung out before he flew back to Washington. It was the perfect macaron date to end the perfect reunion.
