I love a good chunky sweater and slim skirt combo. But I'm not gonna lie, this trend can be pretty tricky to pull off, especially when you are on the petite side and your gams aren't a mile long. One way to make this look work is to tuck your sweater neatly into your skirt giving the illusion of a shorter torso and longer legs. A skirt with a slit will also help show off your legs a bit and give the illusion of length.

I love simple geometric earrings. These ones from Madewell are my current favorites. Seriously love the jewelry selection at Madewell. My skin is a bit finicky and cheap earrings usually gives me infections, but these Madewell ones are holding up well, and the price tag is unbeatable!

Did I say the last post was going to be the last pink hair post? whoops! I lied. But this one is definitely the last of the pink do. Do you guys have plans for New Years yet? I'm heading to Lake Tahoe for the weekend and I'm way excited! Any chance to get out of LA and I'm there! I'm a bit worried about the weather but I'm totally content in ringing in the new year in 15 layers of clothing. Somehow I will make it look chic! I swear!
