i love this tunic from nastygal. its just long enough to wear as a dress. it comes with a slip underneath so no need to find one. yesterday the bf came home with a suprise in a box. i got myself a new puppy. a mini pinscher. he's so badass. will post photos soon. :) i cant think of a name for him yet, any suggestions?

sorry ive been super lagging on posts the past week, i just started school again and already really busy with homework. im dropping one of my classes because i cant understand my professor's heavy accent and i have an interview for a design internship next week. i found a few halloween costumes i have to alter. its a fuzzy white kid's jumper and a unicorn head hoodie. im going to sew it together to turn it into one piece. i hope it doesnt turn into a disaster. and im also thinking of doing a couples costume with the bf. john lennon and yoko ono. we're thrifting for it this week. wish us luck.

in the spirit of october/halloween (which also happens to be my birthday) i changed my header. harper's bazaar october 09. im so so so in love with this editorial.

i love the japanese design aesthetic. i tend to fall in love with collections in pairs at a time. one theatrical and one minimalistic. comme des garcon's patchwork brocade really caught my eye. i love the random shoulderpads thrown on breasts of the jackets. i love the cut of every piece and the leather shoulder harness... hot.
limi feu, just when i thought i needed more color in my life, you make me want to go buy even more head to toe black for my wardrobe. as always, i fall in love with her minimalistic approach. i want to dress my body in all of her clothes.

2 very different collections. loved both equally. loving the minimalistic clothes and bondage footwear at givenchy. loving the reptilian pod creatures at mcqueen. he always puts on a fantastic show. im obsessed with the metallic nails, hand jewelry, and of course.. the INSANE footwear.

silver lining

i bought this vintage dress from my friend val last week. im usually not attracted to 80s dresses but the dark tone and the draping of this one caught my eye. im really happy that its been cooling down the past few days and im finally able to wear boots and jackets again. it seemed fitting to pair this dress with a tough jacket and tall boots to downplay it.

also, this is my 100th post!! i <3 all my readers and i appreciate all the nice comments and feedback you guys give me! ive had so much fun blogging for the past few months :) ill be posting a small giveaway this week as well as changing the look of the blog soon. stay tuned!

i got these shoes a couple of months ago. i dont know why i never wear them. they are these nicholas kirkwood for rotarte knockoffs. i thought it was a pretty good version of them except that the row of chain thats supposed to be in the front was digging into my skin so i just cut them off. hopefully i will find more ways to wear them. today i wear them with a simple black jumpsuit, no jewelry, and dark lips.
