its always good to invest in cute socks you can wear as outerwear. it spices up a plain black outfit and adds to a summer outfit as opposed to bare legs. anthropologie, free people, and UO always have the cutest socks. also target usually has some great ones too. im pretty happy its been really warm the last few days. i found some really great patent leather miu miu mary jane wedges that look amazing with socks. i'll have to experiment with it soon. im still not having any luck with bathing suits for coachella. UO does have a few very promising ones, but i feel like its kind of rediculous to pay $200 for a bathing suit. but thats just me, i may have to try to make one instead. wish me luck.

Oh don't worry, you're not the only one who thinks it's a bit silly to pay $200 for a bathing suit. Would love to see what you come up with if you make one. It all sounds a bit tricky to me. Good luck though, whatever you end up doing! Anyway, back to your outfit. Love the pop of colour from the socks!

ReplyDeleteSock detail is a cool idea! Whatever you do, dont forget to put rubber in the seams of your bathing suit...if you dont it will literally fall off you in the water and never stay on or keep its shape. Speaking from experience haha!

ReplyDeleteanon- hi, the fabric isnt really the best, its not bad though. i cant find the fabric content tag, but its some kind of cotton. it is thin, so if youre looking for warmth this isnt it. but it looks soooo good on! and its great to layer over thick thermals or what not. its one of my favorite pieces right now so i do think it is worth it as far as looks go.
