outfit post from a couple nights ago. i did manage to get a few comments something along the lines of my outfit resembling jackie O's. to say that i was flattered would be a huge understatement.

i started school again a few weeks ago. im 3 quarters away from graduating and i still havent had the time to score an internship or work on my portfolio. theres still so much i feel like i need to do and prepare for. i really hope within the next few months i will finally start to feel like im going in the right direction...

i dont know what it is about girls and their restroom shots. theres just something about it.. we cant resit. lol

every time we go to the gold room we swear its our last time there. then a week later we forget it was supposed to be our last time, so we go again... and then we remember once again why it was supposed to be our last time.. such a love/hate relationship.

some photos from the past week and a half. i finally got the alexander wang abbeys after lusting them for so long. they are definitely more beautiful in person than in photos. lately ive been leaning toward platformless shoes, once youve gone up so far theres really no where else to go but down. it seems the crazy platform shoes have reached ridiculous heights (think nina ricci and alexander mcqueen) and although i will always have a place for them in my heart, i think a more practical shoe is what im craving at the moment (im still in love with the marc jacobs from the previous post though).

i really should rename this post "life via SHITTY camera phone" but i thought it would be more appropriate to leave that part out. getting a new camera next week though so no more shitty photos soon :)


1. outfit i wore on a movie date to see eclipse. UO straw hat, purple bandeau bra, vintage clockwork skirt, marni polka dot pumps.
2. my pretty movie date, mia. vintage floppy hat, UO floral top, F21 velvet leggings, lanvin platforms.
3. in the car, driving and posing. lol
4. vintage blouse, topshop polka dot denim shorts, UO neon socks, jeffrey campbell studded creepers.

below are a few images ive collected in the past few months. im definitely gonna experiment with all of these looks. here are some key points.




mixing patterns in like colors and balancing it with a neutral shoe.





long trench coat with trousers and combat boots- then add a girly touch with a peter pan collar blouse.




denim sleeveless vest over long denim shirt. preferrably in 2 different washes.




leopard fur vest over denim shirt. you can wear this outfit with all black for a more subtle look, or really make it pop with electric blue accents.




3/4 sleeve jacket over extra long sleeved sweater top paired with slouchy cuff trousers and socks. rich textures are a plus.




cuff a pair of vintage overalls (you can find them in a local thrift store for dirt cheap) and pair it with a crisp collared shirt. add trench coat to make it extra chic.




layering 101. baggy shorts over joggers or soft pants. wear an open cardigan under long shirt with cardi peeping through, top it off with crop top and you're good to go. key to pulling it all together is keeping layers in the same colorway.




layering 101 part 2. add neutrals (white jacket, gray joggers and hat, beige socks and shoes) to balance out a colored layer look.




invest in a statement accessory. such as a super sized brief bag.
