(fuzzy beanie, necklace, dress, & clutch from H&M, acne sapphire)

as i was writing this post, i realized that practically my entire outfit is from H&M. haha. what can i say? theyve been on a good one recently. the shoes i got sometime last year. theyre from acne's spring 2010 collection. surprisingly easy to walk in, despite how they look. one thing's for sure, theyre definitely interesting to look at. gotta be up early in the AM tomorrow.

the infamous forrest gump nike cortez. red with red laces. id love to get the red, white, and blue version from the movie. and eventually im sure i'll cave and get them. for now, borrowing these red ones from my mom from time to time will suffice.

im so glad i got to use the cdg clutch today. been itching to take it out for a spin and it was the final touch this christopher kane inspired outfit needed to feel complete. i added a yellow rabbit's foot and im liking how it looks. i may keep it on from now on. ive had this dress for a few years but never got around to wearing it. i never had the perfect accessories to go with it so it was stored in my closet for safekeeping. anyway, i FINALLY finished my closet cleanout yesterday. expect a post this weekend. xo.

last night i met my sister's "child" for the first time. meet gizmo! he's adorable, i couldn't resist snapping a photo with him. he put me in such a good mood so when we went out for lunch i decided to wear my brightest brights. i wore the topshop sweater i got in new york and paired it with sobret rochas pants also from new york. the pants are about a foot too long so i had to pin them for the time being until i tailor them. and yes, i know, i totally need to get my nails done.
speaking of.. im totally loving this nail post by michelle of kingdom of style. loving these, these, and these. will try it out soon.

having a sporty spice moment right now. as seen here. i love the varsity jackets and baseball caps paired with feminine pieces. the simple formula.. varsity jacket + collared shirt + slim trouser + pumps + statement clutch + (baseball hat optional). or go the other route and pair sporty sweatshirt + slim jeans + socks + creepers.perfect.
