coachella: my approach

and so it begins! day 1 of coachella is officially here! super last minute plan changes for me. week 1 i will be attending the parties. week 2 i will be attending the fest. i know a lot of you week 1 fest goers are facing the weather dilemma, and here is my suggestion: combat boots and a surplus jacket (google it).. you know, the ones with the hood. you can still wear it open and have shorts and cutoff tee inside. as for me.. i have a whole week to contemplate fest wear. my style is always evolving and changing, and currently the boho/hippie thing isnt really tickling my fancy. and so ive decided to take more of a sportswear inspired approach to festival dressing.
day 1: alexander wang racerback tank, stella mccartney shorts, super lucia sunglasses, highland short bill hat, theyskens' theory canvas messenger bag, phillip lim domina sandals

day 2: jeremy scott x adidas bralet top, nasty gal neon circle skirt, 5preview anti anti tote bag, chloe sevigny x opening ceremony heart lennon glasses, ebay tye dye socks, topshop boots

day 3: acne 'do it better' tank, one teaspoon frayed shorts, alexander wang leather backpack, take off your clothes ring belt, margiela metallic sneakers


and of course.. what would be a coachella post without some music? my coachella 2012 playlist aka some of my fav tunes at the moment. most of the artists are playing the fest and some thrown in there that are not, but i hope they will in the future!
