after countless unsuccessful attempts, i finally had my beach day! yesterday the boyfriend and i took our pups to santa monica. we walked around the pier, had lunch, and did a bit of shopping. i wish we got the chance to actually get in the water but since our furry friends were not allowed on the beach i will have to save that for another day. thats the beauty of living in a city just a short car ride away from sand and sun. regardless, it was one of the most relaxing days ive had in a while. no work, and all fun. sometimes days like that are entirely necessary to keep me sane.
