(Silence + Noise sweater, H&M skirt, All Saints boots, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag)

It's here! My favorite time of year! October marks the season change, the chill of the cold air, the leaves crunching under your boots, pumpkin spice lattes, and cuddling with that special someone (or special animal in my case, haha). Although most days it still feels like summer in LA, there are a few ways to get into the spirit of fall without looking like a crazy person while everyone else is still in denim cut offs and tank tops. First, pair a heavier top with a mini skirt, keep the legs bare! second, add breathable layers. This sweater feels like a fall sweater but actually is perfect for summer because of the holes. and third, stick with a neutral color palette with pops of olive or burgundy. These type of colors are always associated with the colder season. With these three things in mind this is what I wore to the pumpkin patch last weekend. We picked out the perfect pumpkins to carve and I'm so excited! By the way how crazy are those gigantic pumpkins?! I've literally never seen a vegetable that big (and please don't tell me pumpkins are technically a fruit, because I just don't accept that). anyway, hooray for pumpkins on steroids!
