I'm probably the last person in LA, certainly the last blogger in LA, to check out Projection LA. My newsfeed was flooded with images of the place and I knew I had to check it out for myself. Projection LA is an art installation by Vincent Lamouroux, who painted the old Sunset Pacific hotel (better known as The Bates Hotel) in an opaque white limewash. It was definitely a sight to see. My only gripe was that the day we went to see it, it was overcast and gloomy, causing the installation to kind of blend in with the grey skies. Despite that, it was still a cool experience and I'm glad I had the chance to witness it before it's gone. Afterwards, Alex and I walked a block over to the Echo Park Craft Fair where we had the best quesadillas in the city. No joke, we devoured 5 of those babies in one sitting.
ps- Sooo happy I found this Nasty Gal bodysuit- a great alternative to the Givenchy one (swoon). I'm sorry I couldn't find a link to it online, they probably sold out, but hey, can you blame them?
