(Topshop top, Madewell jeans, Jeffrey Campbell heels, Theyskens' Theory bag, Suede necktie from craft store)

Suede is a favorite of mine for the upcoming season, especially in this buttery camel color. I purchased this topshop pinafore the other day thinking it would look pretty rad layered over a fitted turtleneck in the winter, but also knowing that it could very well work for the 90 degree weather we are currently experiencing. It's a great transitional piece, giving you the feeling of fall while still keeping you cool. I doubled up on the suede by pairing it with my little suede necktie and kept the rest of the outfit minimal and bare. I call it minimal 70's, great for when you want to experiment with the 70's trend without straying too far from your comfort zone. Oh, also I forgot to mention in my last post that I gave my hair a little update. Sal from Ramirez Tran Salon totally transformed my hair to a modern 70's shag. I've never been so happy with a haircut before in my life. LA peeps, I definitely recommend going to Sal for a new look in the upcoming season. If you're hesitant about 70's inspired clothing this season, try a 70's inspired hairdo! It's another great way to experiment with the biggest trend of 2015.
