feminine and sweet

Some days I like to keep things simple, today I even went as far as very feminine and ladylike. I like mixing masculine and feminine pieces together, and this is the perfect example. I kept the look a bit boyish by wearing my straight leg jeans with it, but had I worn a tweed skirt with this look (a la Chanel), it would have taken it too far and not been my style at all. It's so important no matter what the new trends are, to stay true to yourself and your style.



These vintage Chanel heels were a gift from my bff for Christmas. She knows me too well, I absolutely love them!

So glad tie blouses are making such a huge comeback this season. Pair them with jeans and some captoe heels, done and done. The nice thing about it is that it can be dressed up or down easily simply by swapping out the shoes and accessories. Examples here and here of how I've worn it before. 3 different looks, same blouse. Now that's versatility.
