When in doubt, I always stick with stripes. It's the easiest print to work into any outfit when you want to break up a monotone look. Double points if the stripe is in a ribbed knit because that also gives your outfit a retro feel.
I get too lazy to fish through my giant purse for my sunglass case so this is a thing that just happens. Beware not to sit down without removing sunglasses though, I've scratched up too many pairs this way! lol
