this is 31

Last week I hit another milestone in my life. I turned 31, and this is what 31 looked like for me. I celebrated with a gathering of friends for Sunday brunch and what better way to celebrate than in my trusty leather jacket with my best friends. Nothing makes me feel more comfortable than a leather jacket, and nothing makes me happier than time spent with loved ones. I used to dread hitting my 30's when I was younger, but I've gotta say, I wouldn't trade this time for anything else. The 20's were great, it was a great time to make mistakes and have fun, but the 30s is where life really happens. It's where you build a career, start a family of your own, and really hone your style and taste. I can definitely say one of my biggest regrets in my younger days is some of the outfits.. oh boy.. the outfits. It takes years of experimentation to realize what definitely does not work for you. And I can finally say at age 31, that I have found what really works for me.
