the weather today... wow. it was sooo humid. i couldnt even bare to be in the house. so i took a pillow, a good book, threw on a semi sheer barley there dress and found refuge in a shady sanctuary (aka under the biggest tree in my backyard). i posted about this dress way back in 2009 and today is the first time i wear it. that just goes to show how timeless it is. and these photos dont even do it justice. its so much prettier in person. oh and in case you guys were wondering, the book that took up my afternoon was the great gatsby. i wanted to reread it before the movie came out. i first read it as a freshman in high school and 12 years later, its still a great read.. whoops did i just reveal my old age?
