ok, i lied. im not at all from compton. in fact i grew up in the suburbs way on the opposite side of compton. every person in my city was asain (no joke). but that didnt stop me from blasting N.W.A on repeat as a kid. so this goes out to you, N.W.A. thanks for letting me pretend to be as gangsta as i wanted to be. hashtag eightieskid.
