this is the headband that i wore in the coachella photos. i made two versions of it. one thin and one wide one with a variety of shapes. its a pretty simple diy.

first you will need:
1. elastic (thin or wide depending on your preference)
2. bags of rhinestones
3. craft glue
4. thread
5. needle
i found all of these things at walmart for a total of under $10

- you wrap the elastic around your head to measure how long you will need it, make sure you pull on it slightly so its not too loose. cut it accordingly.
- leave about half an inch on each end and with the craft glue attach rhinestones to one side of the elastic. for the wider headband you can arrange it any way you like with different shapes.
- sew the ends together (i did this in a square shape along the edge of the elastic)
- add rhinestone to where you sewed the elastic together to hide thread.

voila! homemade headbands. you can also use studs, beads, sequins.. anything!

  16. This is super cool, and I will definitely experiment with some. Do you know a good DIY for flower headbands a la Diane Von Furstenberg? I've been looking and I can't seem to find a good one. Thanks for the ideas. :)
