i found this blazer at UO on sale after a long search for the perfect white blazer. so glad i held out because this one is absolutely perfect. i'll be wearing this all summer for sure. as i said in a previous post i took out my extensions and lightened my hair. im officially a redhead now and still trying to get used to it. it feels like im missing something without the length. i guess that means goodbye to braids for the summer, but hopefully i can find an alternative summer hairstyle for short hair. if anyone has suggestions, please share. thnx a million :)

im finally embracing spring. found this adorable childrens sailoresque dress at a thrift store a few weeks ago. paired it with this boater hat from UO. ive been looking for a straw boater hat forever and was delighted when i finally found it. its definitely coming with me to coachella. speaking of coachella, if any of you guys are going and are still looking for a place to stay, shoot me an email. we're getting a house and looking for more people to go in on it. putmeinyrpocket@yahoo.com

on friday me and mia hosted a get together at my loft. we made little hors D'oeuvres, served wine and watermelon vodka, and invited a few close friends. i had so much fun, we must do it again soon. for some reason ive had so much more fun catching up with old friends and staying in, rather than going out and meeting new people. i guess im feeling a bit nostalgic as of late.

last week consisted of going to the short stop with friends and getting pretty drunk, furniture shopping with mia at the rosebowl. i ended up only getting a fur chair, vintage playboy magazines from the 60's and 70's, and a few items of clothing. on valentines day mia and valerie were my dates. we went to watch valentines day. how extremely clever right? haha jk. it was a great movie, but kind of a downer when you are single. needless to say, we were the only ones in the theater that were not a couple. anyway, lots of things to get to this week. still need to post a closet clean out and i have a giveaway coming up too. i'll try to get that all in by next week.
