when i work during the day, im always running around LA to meet deadlines for our line, so comfy shoes are crucial. ive seen sperry shoes around but always dismissed them as being ugly. carrie bradshaw once said she would "throw away a guy for wearing docksiders or topsiders or any of the above." that line really stuck with me. that is, until now. behold, my first pair of topsiders in all its patent leather and leopard print glory. theyre kind of like a fun upgrade from vans. so yeah, sorry carrie, youre my girl and all, but im voting 'yes' on topsiders.

Ah, those shoes are adorable. My mum recently got the metallic ones and I actually really like them too. Sperrys is stepping up their game!
