the last cool breeze

California decided to show us the last bit of winter these past few days and dropped the temperatures on us, even gracing us with the tiniest bit of rain. It gave me the opportunity to get a few more wears out of my coziest knits before I store them away for good. It was perfect for layering over my favorite summer dress. Wore the combo with my scuffed boots and it definitely felt very winter again. We went to the Huntington Gardens for a day of nature appreciation and relaxation. It was the perfect daytime activity followed by a hearty steak dinner and wine tasting in Pasadena.
