driving to reno

On our third day in Tahoe, we started getting cabin fever so we decided to take a trip to Reno and explore the city. It was only a 30 minute drive but it was such a nice deviation from nature. I'm a city girl at heart so having lunch in the city was the perfect little distraction I needed that day. I had never been to Reno before but I will say this, Reno is really just a mini Vegas except way colder! Not really my scene, but still a nice little getaway.



I picked up these super cute suede and leather gloves at an antique shop while I was in Reno. Got them for a steal at $8. Loving the 70's vibe!

I borrowed this down jacket from Alex's mom for the weekend. I don't own any down parkas and never thought I would need one. But after freezing my ass off in New York last year, I knew I didn't want take this trip to Tahoe unprepared. I took inspiration from Gigi Hadid, and paired my flare jeans with my Timberland boots. Just because you have to layer doesn't mean you can't look stylish, right? The flares paired with the down jacket worked out quite well! This was probably my favorite (and warmest) look of the weekend!
