Happy day of love! Hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day and a lovely Sunday! I spent the day in a not so typical Vday outfit. I approached my outfit much like I approach this holiday- relaxed, simple, and stress free.



I bought this top on Asos last year but never got around to wearing it. And since it's kind of a holiday themed shirt, I waited an entire year to finally wear it! Talk about patience!

I'm gonna get a little mushy here and talk a bit about the topic of love. Love comes in all forms, and it can be between best friends, love for your family, or the love between lovers. It can be between man and women, man and man, woman and women. There is no wrong way to love and sometimes the best kinds of love are the unconventional ones. About a year ago today I went on my first date with Alex. We started off casually dating and soon progressed into a serious relationship. Our relationship has always been and continues to be an open relationship. This doesn't make it any less of a real thing, and in fact has been the best and most sane relationship I've ever been in. To be in an open relationship means 100% trust and honesty and knowing our boundaries. This has opened my eyes to so much and made me a much more accepting person, accepting of my feelings and of my partner's feelings. Being truly happy when your partner is happy is a priceless feeling, and learning to recognize jealousy as just another passing emotion is a very powerful tool. I'm so happy that I get to experience such a pure and honest bond with another person. Weather you're in a monogamous, polyamourous, or open relationship, love with all your heart and all honesty.
