Isla Mujeres: A Little Paradise pt I

It's officially been a week since I got back from island life, and I must tell you the adjustment back to real life has been tough! Sunshine, clear water, and sand in my toes every day is something I seriously crave again. Editing these photos gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. I'll let these photos speak for themselves.



The island was quite small but very lovely. It took about 20 minutes to drive from one side of the island the the other end. As each day passed we started recognizing familiar faces as the locals soon became like friendly neighbors.



Handmade dolls from Oaxaca, a fun little accent to any bedroom. These were so adorable, I ended up buying two.

This was the first time I had been to Mexico except the one time I went to Rosarito (I went for a day in college so I don't even count that). This trip was so much more beautiful that I had ever imagined. I ate the best seafood I have ever had in my life and swam in the clearest ocean I have ever been in. And to experience that all with my very best friend is priceless. I'll be sharing a few more photos as I sit in my office and cry while sift through them. lol jk. But damn I wish I could give up this corporate life and be back in the Caribbians right now!
