Here is part 2 of my 3 part Mexico diaries. We got a chance to explore the city a bit and we even ended up renting a gold cart to drive around. Everyone in Isla Mujeres drives a golf cart, it is as common as automobiles in the states. For city exploration I decided to wear some comfy trousers with a striped crop top. A straw hat to block the sun is a must. But I'm not gonna lie, I was definitely sweating all day. This was the first and last time I wore trousers in Mexico! It was denim cut off and flowy dresses for the rest of the trip.
There was a cute little street market right outside of our house. It was so convenient they even had pre peeled oranges and tangerines packaged for you!
Seafood for lunch! It was so delicious! I literally could not get enough of the ceviche in Mexico.
Colorful accessories and sandals all day. The perfect summer accessories with my bestie.

This white bathing suit was unfortunately a bit too sheer to get into the water in. It was a great sunbathing suit, but definitely not made for actual swimming. So on this day I opted for lounging around the sand and working on my tan. I came back to LA with a nice golden glow, which is awesome because as luck should have it, it's been overcast all week here. I guess some things were just meant to be.
