This is for the days when you just want to be comfortable. Throw on a loose maxi dress, chunky sandals, and your necessities in a backpack and you are ready to conquer the world.



What I love about a simple outfit like this is that you can let your accessories do all the talking. My boyfriend recently went to Form festival at Arcosanti and brought back this Malachite gemstone necklace as a gift. I love it so much, and I really wanted it to be the focal point. I kept everything else simple, letting the color of the stone really pop.

Whenever I walk by a cool looking house I am inclined to take photos there. There's just something that fascinates me about the way each person individualizes their home, from the paint color, to the plants they choose to adorn their front lawn, to the window treatments, all of these things make up variables that set ourselves apart from our neighbors. In a way it is a lot like how we choose to get dressed every morning. We want to wear pieces that highlight our best assets, sets us apart from others, yet also fitting in with the neighborhood. But there are times when I walk past a house so special, painted in the brightest aqua and turquoise shades clashing in such a magnificent way, it takes my breath away. It's the house on the block that does not fit in with the others and some may call an eyesore, but I appreciate it so much.
