Few weeks ago I took a quick road trip to Vegas for the day. To be honest, one day is really the maximum I can stand in that city. Vegas has never been for me. The gambling, the smoking, the lights... ehh I'll pass. But it was a family trip so I really couldn't refuse. And as much as the city does not appeal to me, I always say yes to a mini vacation, and time spend with loved ones.
On a 90 something degree day, denim shorts and a comfy tee is what I gravitate towards. And since I was hopping from casino to casino all day, my Converse sneakers were a life saver!

I feel the same way about Vegas, which is why I've never visited. I've always been somewhat of a homebody, never really liking the club and party scene #oldlady, haha! When it comes to spending time with loved ones, though, it's sometimes necessary to lay aside our preferences and just go with the flow to enjoy some quality time!
